We’re Dave and Julie – two Colorado adventurers with a passion for unique rides, open roads, and the rugged beauty of the Rockies.
It all began when we bought a Honda Acty Kei truck as a marketing vehicle for one of our businesses. It was perfect – right-hand drive, amazing gas mileage, compact, and nimble. But what started as a clever business tool quickly became a conversation starter. People stopped us everywhere asking, “Where can I get one?” Soon, we were importing them and customizing them for mountain fishing trips, backcountry hunting, farm and ranch work, and even dunning adventures.
And that’s how KeiKraze Customs was born – an importer of Japanese Honda Acty Kei trucks and vans. You can buy yours straight off the boat for an authentic Japanese experience, or let us custom-build it to match your Colorado lifestyle. From hauling gear into the high country to cruising dirt roads under big skies, we make sure your Kei is ready for adventure.
Making Kei History in Colorado
It wasn’t always this simple. Until May 2025, Kei trucks weren’t legal to drive on Colorado roads. We joined forces with other Kei enthusiasts, took our case to the Colorado bipartisan legislature, and… success! The law passed. You can’t register them in Colorado until January 1, 2028, but we’ve got a solution. Our business is registered in Montana, so we can title your vehicle there with a one-time permanent title and tag. Then you can drive it straight into your next mountain or plains adventure.
